Ok, this is farking annoying. I'm up another 2 pounds. I didn't overindulge in anything--my daily calorie counts were pretty much right on the money--and I worked out; when I worked out, I pushed a little. I had honestly expected to lose the 2 pounds gained last week, not add to them.

I don't think it's gained muscle; I've been doing cardio work, not even light weight training.

I am not happy. Nope.

Thumper, I've had that problem also. I was told that when I started to work out that there would be times that it would look as if I was gainning weight instead of loosing.

Get out the tape measurer and measure your waist, thighs, calves,
hips and chest area under and over the boobies. check with what you know your measurements of those areas were before you started.

Also get out something that you've worn in the past{several months before you started the work-outs] and try it on. Does it fit now or is it loose??
Keepin track of the inches is a lot better than the pounds.

Also sometimes with the work-outs many of those areas that Mr. "A" made painful you will discover aren't as painful as before...Stronger ligament, tendons and muscle help to protect those areas.

Hope this helps.
Don't give up because you are giving me the incentive to get up off my "FAT" backside and do something about it.

It could still be muscle weight; you started HGH again, which in itself is going to help add muscle weight, and pushing that Trikke is going to build your quads, calves, delts, triceps, and back muscles.

You also might be experiencing a certain amount of water retention in the muscles; you've started a new workout routine and jumped into it, which initially can cause water to push through the muscle walls and for lack of a better way of putting it, it gets stuck there. I don't think breakthrough on your meds will affect that, though I may be wrong.

Still, it's probably not body fat gained, but a balance between water and muscle. And as that, it's nothing to worry about. The number on the scale is just that: a number. Keep with what you're doing, and it will start heading in the other direction sooner or later.

I think that you should get clothes out of the closet (and get a BIG box) and put anything that doesn't fit into the box and take it to AmVets. I have been "stabilized" at 135 pounds for nearly a year, but I am taking heart from the fact that I have gone from a size 14 to a size 8. And the numbers on thte scale haven't dropped but 20 pounds in nearly a year (top number 177 and I'm 5'3"). Don't count the numbers, pound wise. Look at your total fitness and what you can wear.....
Please, don't beat yourself up. My son's "good and gorgeous girlfriend" got me chocolates for Mother's Day and I'm going to enjoy them to the MAX! (no pun intended)
Oh, and by the way, I can now lift over 60 pounds and carry it for a long way and before I had to ask my husband, "Honey, can you get that for me?"

Don't let it get you down, Thumper. My body does strange things with water that makes my weight go up and down. Maybe yours does, too.

Sounds like you are building muscle in your legs.
