Nope, I don't think it's possible to do anything around here without feline help.

A small peek

Still have to paint the kitchen, and I'm toying with painting the cabinets, but there's no hurry.

And where the heck were all the trick or treaters tonight? 'Twas very disappointing here...

It is yours, you can paint what you want! And tale as long to do it as you want!

Probably hanging out with ours. We had THREE. Man...if I had known I would have given out way more candy per kid...

Kitty supervision can be fun. You can do what you want with the house now, so take your time and do what you feel like. I don't know anything about trick-or-treaters tonight. I was at work, so there was no one home at all.

How does Buddah get up there?

I should buy some paint for my bathroom. The building finally fixed some things in my bathroom and had a base coat done (above where the tiles are). Since I want a washable paint (glossy or semi-glossy), I should buy it myself and do the work -- it's a tiny space.

Here's to you for painting.

Each year there are less and less trick or treaters. Either they're all just growing up, or people are throwing parties we don't know about, or the religious kooks have convinced them all it's Satan's work. It's not like when we were kids, when the only house on the street not lit up for Trick or Treating was the Jehovah's Witnesses.

But we do have a following with our hauntings. Someone last night said, "We're so glad you did something this year," and then it dawned on me. We do it as much for them as we do it for us.

We had 67 kids. They were either very young, 2-6 years old, or were teenagers 13-16.
I was pleased that everyone was very polite ( even the teenagers.)
The little ones had the parents with them ( of course) and it looked like a very enjoyable family time. The teenagers were having fun with their friends.
I wonder if the numbers have died down because of parental paranoia.
Keep the kids in the basement while the folks party upstairs. Give the kids a movie to watch that has been pre-approved by the overbearing parental units, something not tooooo scary. Give the kids pre-approved treats, lactose-free, non peanut,low-sugar, fully sealed, soy-based candy like substance.
A fascimile of fun, while the parents are upstairs getting loaded.

Nice color.

Lovely color! I wasn't going to open my door, then decided I'd give out candy, then no one showed. It's mine! All mine!

We've had a total of 1 infant and 1 pug, both immediate neighbors, in 15 years of Halloweens in New Mexico. Oh well.

I also love the color!

Hey, looks great! If you decide to paint your cabinets, let me know. I antiqued mine over the summer and they turned out awesome.

My somewhat snooty older sister took a long time to do her formal dining room She always used to say "I just don't have a vision for this room yet." Feel free to use that line for your kitchen.
All kitties love to be a part of the action, don't they.

Anyone who has cats knows the truth to the statement "I don't think it's possible to do anything around here without feline help."
As a matter of fact I have a feline editor helping me edit this post right now.
The only thing we are able to do without feline help is shower; although they are waiting to help you dry off afterwards.

You said it! And the felines always seem to have suggestions on better ways to do something, too! Great color!

And in our house, Panda Bear likes to help me shower, too.
