Dear neighbor,

Please take into consideration that your secondary driveway is right next to the side of your neighbor's house where bedrooms are located, and that you have other parking options at 3:15 in the morning. Really. You have a whole other driveway that isn't right next to other peoples' bedrooms. You even have street parking available.

Lacking that, could you please not slam your freaking door shut? It sounds like a gunshot going off, and I'm getting tired of being woken up every damned night.

Oh, and you owe my cat an apology, because the first few nights I blamed his furry little asterisk, thinking he was getting into things he didn't need to be getting into.

Sincerely,
One Passive-Aggressive Yawning Wabbit

We used to live down the street from a guy who owned an old truck in need of a new muffler.
He came home at 1am every weeknight. He was very considerate of his neighbors. Knowing how loud his muffler was, he drove slowly to keep the noise down. Which made us have to listen to it longer as he crept up the street.
At 1am.

Whaddya gonna do?

We have a neighbor that works on his off road truck in the alley across from our bedroom! All night long!

Our condo window faces an alley that backs two other condo buildings. One evening, there was a car in the alley and the driver was clearly waiting for a friend. Driver kept yelling "Fred! Fred!! Fred!!!" and honking - over and over and over. After about 15 minutes I snapped, walked to the window and yelled "KNOCK IT OFF!" He must have heard me, because he got out of the car and went to the building door to get Fred. And, really, he couldn't have done that in the first place?

We have hillbillies 2 houses down and their kids just love to go outside to hoot & holler at 2:30 am. Never fails to jolt me awake then since I've had a nice little nap by that time I can't get back to sleep.
