The good news is the new sofa was obviously treated with Scotch Guard before it was delivered.

The bad news is I discovered it when Max threw up all over it last night.

Ugh.

He was feeling sick most of today--couldn't even bring himself to eat breakfast--but he seems much better now and ate some dinner.

But...ugh...I hate cat barf, but I'm glad he did it when I was right there to get it cleaned up quick. The bathroom carpet didn't fare as well, but that I can toss in the washer...

It is nice to find out that the sofa was treated, but what a bad way to find out. I haven't minded kitty barf, so far, but I have only had to clean it up once so far and I saw it happen and it was on the kitchen floor, so it was really easy and not stinky.

Oh no. I hope that the kitty barf was not with tons of water. I had an IBD kitty who barfed about once a week and it was explosive. We had it under control for a while with B12 shots and meds, but it was one year ago on Dec. 2 that I had to put her down.

My surviving kitty (Pumpkin) is the one in my avatar. She's 15 and hardly ever barfs (unless I give her the wrong brand of stinky goodness, but I've learned).

He was probably aiming for your slippers.

Cuddlecakes has to clean up the cat barf. If I try to do it, she will have to clean up two piles.

I still cover the couch with a throw that can be washed rather than having to clean the fabric of the couch. So much easier. Hope Max is feeling better.

Mine loves the wall to wall carpet in my bedroom and the 2nd bedroom. I'm getting a bissell rug cleaner for Christmas.

Interesting how they always seem to pick the new stuff.
