Wherein I bang my head on my desk...

This from the writer who blew me off when we were in Vegas in November. The one who blew me off once before that. We're going for our son's 30th birthday in April, not to wait on someone I know will "lose" her phone or "write down the wrong date" on the calendar.

I get points for not saying OH HELL NO, right?

I better.

She was lucky you gave her a second chance. She obviously doesn't value her word - or your time!

Yes you get points for standing your ground. Her history doesn't make her worth wasting your time.

She didn't even offer an apology and the and I'll show up sounds callous like she is doing you a favor.
Not worth your time.

A smaller person would say, Yeah! Sure!
... and then stand her up.

Good on you for being the bigger person and just saying no.

Definitely. I would have been required to sling at least a "Bitch, please!" in there.

Good for you! Just stick to NO!

Good for you. Sometimes it is hard to say no, but I'm sure you did the right thing. Hopefully this will be a learning experience for her.

Two Brownie Points for you. One for politeness and one for knowing your own value as a person. (8 more points and you get to have a brownie... Let me know when and I'll share). :)

Agreed! Now are you still taking HGH?

I haven't taken HGH for about a year and a half; there's quite a bit of cancer in my family history and HGH can be problematic if something does appear...since I hit 50, my doc thought it was best to stop taking it.

I really wish I was still on it...it's a quick slide into lower lean muscle mass and increased body fat once you stop taking it :/

Wow. Thanks for the reply. I'm battling FM and was researching HGH when I ran across your blog. I just couldn't find many testimonies so was interested in your current situation. How is your FM these days?

My FMS is a dull roar for the most part, even off the HGH. I'm achy, but it's like background static and has been for years. I don't think I've had a real flare for 6-7 years, and the worst of it is needing to just stop and crash in bed for a bit when we're doing things like Disneyland or walking nonstop in Vegas.

I do notice a difference off the HGH, but it's still better than it was before I started taking it.

I had a blog specific to using the HGH...it should still be there collecting dust. http://hghexperiment.blogspot.com/

That's great news! I'm hoping to find my little magic potion whatever that looks like. I do go through periods such as you've described but for the past couple of years its just been a rough patch, that's why I keep searching. I stumbled onto your blog about HGH, that's how I knew to contact you through this blog. Thanks for the info!
